WELCOME TO AROUND THE RANCH

Our horses foal and the babies grow up on thousands of acres.  They are visited almost daily. The big advantages of having them out like this is they learn to be social with other horses so when they are out in groups they are not bothered like horses that grow up in  controlled environments. They also learn to move up and down hills to learn balance early.

This is W-2 at a younger age during an inspection in one of our holding  pastures while the horses were waiting to be brought into the barn area.

Some above  photos were taken on one of our routine checks of all our pastures.

The mares and foals are brought into the ranch to inspect them.  The mares are wormed and have their feet trimmed and any other needs they may have.  This is another opportunity to introduce the foals to human contact.
